Redbull Crashed Ice hits Avoriaz!

Avoriaz is hosting the Ice Cross Downhill World Championship this weekend (15th and 16th January)! The fastest sport on skates, the ice cross athletes charge down an ice track filled with drops, hairpin turns and huge gaps at massive speed. The only two French riders in this years World Championship are local boys – so we’ll be there to support 22 yr old Tristan Duguerdil from Morzine, and 24 yr old Pacôme Schmitt from Les Gets. Check out all the details and watch some taster videos on the Avoriaz website here: http://www.avoriaz.com/en/events/ice-cross-downhill-world-championship-2016

The race takes place this Friday and Saturday evening (starting at 6pm) on a specially built track through the centre of Avoriaz town. Can’t wait to check it out!
