Team Treeline take on Spartan!

The awesome Spartan Reebok races returned to Morzine recently, running over the weekend of 1st – 8th July. The event drew over 8000 international competitors challenging themselves with either the Beast (21+km), the Super (13+km) or the Sprint (5+km), or in the case of a few elite athletes all 3 events over the weekend!

Team Treeline decided to represent this year, and both Amy and Becs took part in the Super event on the Sunday. The track involved many different obstacles from crawling under barbed wire to carrying sandbags, tossing giant tyres, throwing spears and jumping in and out of the cold Dereche river that runs through Morzine. Massive thanks must go out to all who came out in support, and both Spartans thoroughly enjoyed themselves getting muddy!
