Morzine, with its beautiful alpine scenery and wide range of activities is the perfect location for a summer holiday: from extreme Downhill Mountain biking to fun-filled outdoor family holidays, or active adventure hen-do’s with a difference, Morzine has it all. The lift-assisted mountain biking in Morzine is world famous, which is no surprise as it has over 650 km of sign-posted tracks, 10 permanent downhill runs, 4 bike parks and 24 bike-ready lifts.

However mountain biking is only one of the many activities Morzine has to offer. Every day in Morzine can be different. You can hike the many accessible trails in the morning and relax by the lake in the afternoon. The possibilities are endless: you can have a week of golf, or walking, or cycling, or adventure adrenalin sports, or a mixture of all of these!

Le plan des pierry with its spectacular views of Morzine is a luxury chalet in the heart of Morzine. With every bedroom spacious and ensuite it is an ideal place to relax and enjoy every thing that Morzine and the Porte du Soleil has to offer. Located 5 miniutes from the town center the chalet has great access to the lift system and town centre. It has a large secure garage for your bikes, a hot tub, sauna and large balconies with panoramic views of Morzine and on which to enjoy the summer sun! The chalet sleeps up to 18 people in 6 bedrooms so is ideal for group bookings.

The majority of the activities in Morzine are based around the great outdoors. The main purpose of a holiday in Morzine is getting out there and making the most of the fantastic environment. You can choose to do this at a leisurely relaxing pace, or take a maximum adrenalin approach, either way you are guaranteed a great holiday.

We have put together a couple of itineraries to give you an idea of how different and fun a summer holiday in Morzine could be.

Fancy an action-packed adrenalin filled week in the Alps? Then Morzine is the perfect destination.

Day 1 - Via Ferrata – a fun introduction to rock climbing

Day 2 - Paragliding in the morning, followed by an afternoon hike.

Day 3 - White water rafting or Hydrospeeding in the river Dranse

Day 4 - Relaxing day by Lake Montriond with a picnic lunch and evening BBQ

Day 5 - Canyoning

Day 6 - Time to give mountain biking or road biking a go

Want to experience some of the most beautiful scenery in the world first-hand? Morzine makes it easy.

Day 1 - A gentle first day climb up the Col de Coux, and be right on the Swiss/France Border

Day 2 - Our first use of lifts: a full day exploring the Avoriaz/Chatel area.

Day 3 - Take a short horse ride down by the river, or cycle up to Lake Montriond, depending on how energetic you’re feeling

Day 4 - Relaxing day, based at Lake Montriond, take the short walk to the waterfall, a picnic by the lake

Day 5 - Day exploring the Lets Gets side using chair-lifts and walking.

Day 6 - Might be time for a massage after all the exercise, or a last minute present shop

Day 1 - Mini-golf morning at Seytroux, followed by kayaking on Lake Montriond

Day 2 - Horse-riding, followed by afternoon at the Out-door pool

Day 3 - Morning cycle down by the river, then a swing in the trees at Indiana Parc

Day 4 - Tennis, followed by a donkey walk and an afternoon picnic at Lake Montriond

Day 5 - Choice of paintballing or white-water rafting

Day 6 - Walk up to Nyon waterfall, maybe try Cascasde Nyon and an afternoon luge session
